Mobility Program

Mobility Program for Expertise Exchange

One of GANANA’s key objectives is to empower young researchers by equipping them with specialized skills and fostering an environment that encourages knowledge exchange and collaborative learning, while contributing to the education of the next generation of European and Indian researchers.

What is the Mobility Program?

As part of GANANA’s expertise exchange activities, the Mobility Program enables researchers and experts from Europe and India to spend time at partner organisations in the other consortium. The general aim is to strengthen existing collaborations and foster new ones, enhancing overall cooperation between researchers in the EU and India.

These exchanges can take various forms, including workshops, training sessions, and lectures, delivered as part of shorter visits or longer stays at partnering institutions. Through short visits of up to two weeks, participants work side by side on GANANA tasks, advancing the development of applications and exchanging knowledge on HPC workflows, optimisation, testing, and benchmarking.

The program not only supports the project’s scientific objectives but also fosters long-term collaboration between Europe and India, opening the door to new opportunities beyond GANANA.

All visits are funded by the project, with coordination led by CSC – IT Center for Science in Europe.

Who can participate?

The program is open to everyone working on GANANA tasks in the life sciences, geohazards, and weather & climate pillars, as well as the tasks on exploitation & longterm partnership framework.

The mobility program is essential, as joint capacity building and talent development are fundamental not only for advancing science and technology but also for benefiting societies at large.
