The GANANA project will take part in SCA/HPCAsia 2026, taking place at the Osaka International Convention Center, in Osaka, Japan, from 26 to 29 January 2026.

SupercomputingAsia (SCA) is a major annual international High Performance Computing (HPC) event in Asia, established in 2018. The conference is co-organized by HPC centres from Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Thailand, and has become a key networking and collaboration platform for the regional and global supercomputing community, involving both the public and private sectors.

The International Conference on High Performance Computing in Asia-Pacific Region (HPCAsia) is an international conference series dedicated to HPC technologies in the Asia-Pacific region. It promotes the exchange of ideas, research results, and case studies related to all aspects of high-performance computing.

In Osaka, SCA and HPCAsia once again join forces to jointly host SCA/HPCAsia 2026. The collaboration between these two established conferences creates strong synergies among HPC researchers, academics, technology specialists, and industry leaders from across the region and beyond. Under the theme “Everything with HPC – AI, Cloud, QC and the Future Society”, the AI, cloud, quantum computing, and supercomputing communities are invited to come together to shape the future.

The GANANA project will feature two workshops during the conference, both scheduled for the last day of the event, 29 January 2026.
One workshop will focus on EU–India scientific collaboration in High Performance Computing, showcasing the progress and impact of the GANANA project.
The second workshop, titled “Bridging Continents: HPC/AI Cooperation Across Europe and the Indo-Pacific”, will highlight cross-regional cooperation and shared challenges.

This will be another important opportunity to connect, share experiences, and promote collaboration and resource exchange between European and Indo-Pacific countries.
